About Manding Suwareh

I am an environmental monitoring and impact assessment specialist with over four years of experience in project evaluation, data analysis, and resource management. My expertise spans monitoring and evaluation (M&E), geospatial analysis, statistical modeling, and environmental impact assessments, with a strong focus on forest and landscape restoration (FLR), renewable resources, and sustainability projects. In my current role at GIZ's global Forests4Future (F4F) program, I lead the development of digital monitoring frameworks, integrating drone, satellite, and field data to assess reforestation efforts across multiple African countries. I have successfully implemented data-driven evaluation methods, facilitated collaboration with international stakeholders, and conducted training sessions to strengthen monitoring capacities. With a Master’s in Aquatic Tropical Ecology and a Bachelor’s in Ecosystem Management, I bring a strong analytical background in GIS, environmental policy, and statistical analysis using R. My experience in stakeholder engagement, project reporting, and sustainability assessments enables me to contribute effectively to environmental impact studies, permitting processes, and renewable energy projects.
