About Mandy Chuey

Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom-Viktor Frankl I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker that practices a strength-based, client-centered approach. I have a private practice and provide psychotherapy for clients throughout California. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University. I have worked extensively in the Bay Area in the Child Welfare system as an Emergency Response Worker. I've conducted child abuse investigations with law enforcement officials, coordinated placement needs, prepared court reports, and testified as needed. As a dual role, I provide support as a Resource Coordinator for a pediatric clinic offering occupational and speech therapy services in Sacramento. As Resource Coordinator, I help parents navigate our services, liaise with our contracted insurance companies and serve as administrative support for the fast-growing service-based company. In addition, I am a Board Member of the Non-Profit organization Capital Kids Educational Services.
