I have over 20 years’ management accounting experience and 8 years’ post CIMA qualified as Financial Controller/Facilities Manager. I strive for continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and process efficiency, have meticulous attention to detail and an analytical eye. I am driven by best practice and development of both manual systems and finance accounting software including Xero, Sage 50, ESCORT, LEX and IQL. Currently Financial Controller for Fine Arts College, Hampstead, part of Dukes Education Group. I also spent 4 years as Financial Controller/ Chambers Administrator within the legal sector. I held numerous finance roles with ARAMARK for blue chip contacts over 17 years and more recently with Bon Appetit and Jamie’s Italian. The skills I have evolved during my career include developing relationships, striving for continuous improvement (process-driven and reporting accuracy), achieving cost savings, streamlining processes, SOX/regulatory compliance, internal audit, training and development, management of teams, accuracy, attention to detail, meeting company reporting and HMRC VAT/tax deadlines. I am accomplished in the month-end process, periodic financial reporting, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, annual budget preparation, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost efficiencies while maintaining high standards of service and contract retention.
