Mandy is a visionary leader in the cinema and hospitality industries, bringing over two decades of expertise to her role as the co-founder and CEO of Mustard Studio. In this capacity, she spearheads the strategic direction and operational excellence of the company, driving the development of cultural and commercial goals. Together with her business partner, Kate Gerova, she has established Mustard Studio's vision, mission, and values, fostering a balanced work culture philosophy and a commitment to being a force for good within the industry and the planet as a whole. Previously, Mandy held the position of International Director of Cinema at Soho House & Co, where she left an indelible mark on the renowned Electric Cinema brand and the chain of members' screening rooms across three territories. During her tenure, Mandy successfully opened 12 cinemas in 8 countries, managing an international team of 47 programmers, technicians, and box office operators. Notable achievements include rebranding and relaunching Electric Cinema locations, consistently maintaining high occupancy levels with strategic programming and events involving music and food, delivering memorable customer experiences with the best in cinema hospitality, and spearheading marketing and digital initiatives to enhance audience engagement. Outside of her professional endeavours, Mandy is deeply committed to personal growth, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. As a volunteer mentor on the Film London Connect Mentoring Programme, she supports new and early film industry entrants, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience. An advocate for nature conservation, she volunteers for the Kent Wildlife Trust's Nature-friendly Gardening team. She enjoys spending time outdoors, appreciating artworks, plant-based cooking, and engaging in daily yoga and runs.
