Hello Everyone, My name is Mandy, and I'm currently working as a travel advisor at Northern New England helping clients arrange everything from business travel to dream vacations. I've held this position for over 5 years now and have honed my organizational and customer service skills along the way. In 2011, I graduation from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I then worked as a Crisis Stabilization Councilor at Sweetser where I helped adults in crisis find their footing in a save environment. After working in this emotionally challenging position for 3 years, I opted to try for something more fun and uplifting, so I went back to school. Having attained my Associate's Degree in Hospitality Management from Southern Maine Community College in 2015, I furthered my education in this area by attending the University of Southern Maine in an effort toward earning my Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Hospitality. This lead me to work in hotels and, of course, as a travel advisor. My interests include travel, hospitality, and tourism and in gaining as much experience in this area as possible in order to become a successful manager. However, these days I also hope to broaden my horizon in order to become more involved and give back to my community. I am currently looking for a position where I can feel like I am contributing to the betterment of the people and environment around me. A position that I can feel good about. We should all gain a sense of fulfillment in our work. I would like to find that for myself and then, in turn, help others to do so too.
