Using digital and analog media to tell compelling stories that inform, educate and inspire, I think of myself as a narrative chef. I am passionate about foraging for available story ingredients and turning them into delicious content that will feed a hungry audience with nourishing fare to suit the occasion. My specialty? Turning complex ideas into easy-to-digest content. With decades of media-savvy storytelling, documentary film-making, and communications skills, I have worked internationally on the cutting edge of science communications, social media strategy, digital content creation, audience engagement, community building and event management. In addition to freelance work in UK, USA and Canada, past employers include the BBC in London, the National Film Board of Canada in Montreal and several TV stations in Victoria, British Columbia. My specialties include writing, social media strategy, content creation, digital media production,#SciComm science communication, documentary production and post-production, media education, community engagement, event planning, and public speaking. I love travelling and learning new things about the world and the people in it.
