About Mandy Leslie

Mandy has many years of experience in both Australia and Ireland developing from trainee embryologist to senior positions and now a lab manager role in SIMS IVF Swords. She has a passion for teaching and has given lectures and even several webinars and podcasts to inform patients, staff and medical students about what happens in the lab. Training staff and seeing them flourish and gain confidence is one of the highlights of her career Mandy also loves speaking with her patients, addressing their concerns and helping them to understand what is happening and why. She runs a busy donor sperm programme and believes that everyone should have the opportunity to make a family, whatever ‘family’ looks like to them. Mandy has also been instrumental in starting the PGT programme in SIMS IVF Swords and she loves learning about genetic conditions and is a big believer in the benefits of genetic counselling. Preserving fertility for Ireland’s oncology patients is something very close to Mandy’s heart and herself and the team will do their best to provide fertility preservation services for everyone referred to the clinic.
