I am currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Calgary, where I have discovered a genuine passion for innovation and technology. Over the past four years, I’ve actively sought opportunities to learn and grow, engaging with the Robotics Club, participating in engineering competitions, host a STEMs workshop and joining the Car Team, alongside various volunteer activities. What truly inspires me is the potential of engineering to create solutions that improve our everyday lives. I’m eager to contribute to this field, applying both my technical skills and my ability to work collaboratively with others. I often find myself reflecting on how I can take what I’ve learned and make a meaningful impact in the real world. Alongside my love for engineering and science, my commitment to feminism is a significant part of my journey. I see engineering as a space where I can showcase the strength of women and demonstrate that success is rooted in the value we contribute, regardless of our backgrounds. I’ve been inspired by many remarkable women engineers who navigate their careers while nurturing their families, proving that it’s possible to pursue our passions and care for those we love. I aspire to be a role model for young girls like me now, showing them the importance of education, self-love, and perseverance in chasing their dreams. My goal is not just to innovate for a better world, but also to inspire others to believe in their potential and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
