You know that moment when you're staring down a mess of piecemeal training processes and half-understood technical knowledge and you get that THRILL, knowing you're about to whip all that complexity into a streamlined, easy-to-understand, step-by-step process anyone could follow? Oh, just me? Well, that's okay. Hand that chaotic, imprecise learning and development system to me, and I'll organize it into a simple, gorgeous, engaging path to learning that your employees, clients, and new leaders will love experiencing. My journey into the learning & development and instructional design space was a unique one. My formal training is in writing, communication (honors BA in English), and storytelling (MFA in Creative Writing). My experience in education (teaching university courses at UBC Okanagan), leadership (Graduate Advisory Council at UBC Okanagan), and instructional design (founding my own successful consulting and learning development company in the USA) means I'm often a one-person operation who can finesse all aspects of instructional design—from interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts to organizing information using best practices for adult learners (Bloom's Taxonomy), then writing, editing, and designing it all through industry e-learning software into engaging online trainings that move the needle on my team's goals.
