About Mandy Wallington

Spending time in the natural environment when completing any task makes that task more fun, and you're more likely to have a positive outcome. Nature has the power to transform learning at whatever stage in life you are at. I have the skills to safely lead people into the natural environment, and guide them through whatever tasks they are trying to undertake, whether it be an increase in mental wellbeing, an inspiring exploration of the organisms and environment of a particular location, or collecting data as part of an ongoing study. If we are truly going to inspire enough people to take an active role in caring for the natural environment to effect a change in society, then we need to inspire the young people of today - they will be the adults of 2030. This will be most effective when coupled with opportunities to enable two way discourse so that people feel connected, empowered, listened-to. I have good connections in my local area for setting up in-person activities, but am also a superuser in platforms such as Discord so that this two-way chat can happen without land or time borders.
