About Mandy Young

My passion is to take highly networking professionally on life-enhancing safaris virtually on line - join us on a Fireside Conversation, or in reality as we adventure in wilderness areas in Africa. I believe in the transforming power of nature physically, emotionally and spiritually, and that wild animals, tribal people and free, ocean-moving dolphins know how to adapt, survive and relate well. Observing and spending time with them provide life-changing personal and professional insights. I have spent a quarter of a century observing elephants, white lions, mountain gorillas, wild dogs, and meerkats; swimming with dolphins and walking alongside the Masai and Bushmen, My work has been the topic of many magazines, newspaper articles, and chapters in several books. I am also represented on the In-credible People App with a Dolphin Dreamtime Meditation that can be deeply relaxing, stimulates immune systems, realigns body functioning, and evokes deep spiritual and emotional insights. I have just completed the draft of my own book that tells the story of my journey in wild places, together with fellow travelers, and how these adventures changed our lives. The book has been submitted for publication and I am hopeful of the outcomes. You are welcome to make a pre-order. My primary training is as a Psychotherapist. I have had my own Private practice for over three decades (now online). I do couples counseling, post, and pre-divorce counseling, assist parents with advanced parenting skills and have been involved with two medical teams to rehabilitate amputees back into an inspirational life, and to support cancer patients and their families. I love speaking and I am a member of the Professional Speakers Association in the UK. My most recent key note speeches have been about the impact of climate change on the Masai. As an entrepreneur, I believe it is important to have several streams of income, Dreams:+ to support those what want to journey with in emotional and ecological intelligence through the books I write and Wilderness Encounters I facilitate + to build a tented camp just outside of Amboseli National Park, below Mount Kilimanjaro to support the Ikankare village with an additional way of being self-sufficient and retaining their cultural richness. I would like to see them survive and thrive as transition from being pastoralists to agriculturalists to survive ongoing droughts and delayed rains.+ spend time having fun adventures with my husband, our children and grandchildren
