19+ years of experience in design and development for climate comfort systems, air quality, attribute and aggregate management. • Working as General Manager - HVAC development at Mahle Anand Thermal Systems. • Worked as Deputy General Manager – Development as SMTL (Sub module Team Lead) HVAC Systems, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Climate Comfort attribute Manager at Tata Motors Ltd. • Winner of 2020 SAE International Environment Excellence in Transportation Award in Mobile Energy and emissions for a project sponsored by United Nations for developing R152a (Low GWP refrigerant) based secondary loop system for dual AC car. • Experience in HVAC system design and development for IC engine and Electric Vehicles (EVs) including Heat exchanger, fixed/variable/ scroll(ICE) and inverter based scroll(EV) compressors and Expansion Valve selection, dual AC system balancing, duct and vent design, air quality solutions (High efficiency filters, ionizers, air purifier), thermal comfort module, Automatic Climate Control Calibration, logic development for Cabin cooling and Battery Cooling system for EVs and application of RMDV2 • Led the deployment of Express Cooling function in Tata Cars, improving cabin-cooling time by 60%. • Led deployment of PM2.5 AQI based advanced air purification in Tata Cars improving Cabin air quality. Also, deployed N95 equivalent filter branded as Air-O-Pure 95 filters and other health products like ionizer, Air Purifier etc. as Tata branded accessory during COVID-19 lockdown phase. • During the COVID-19 lockdown phase, selected as engineering lead for developing Tata Branded Ventilator based on Medtronic PB560 design including upgrading the same to deliver greater than 95% Oxygen to patients. • Selected for Company sponsored PGEMP course (Post Graduate Executive Management Program) from SP Jain. Completed the same as Batch Topper in 2012. • Filed 9 Indian Patent applications in HVAC domain (Granted - 8). •Published technical paper for SAE 2011 Noise and Vibration Conference, US on HVAC system noise reduction and SAE 2022 India on air cycle refrigeration. • Strong analytical and reasoning skills; ability to understand and interpret financial information • Ability to coach/ mentor individuals and lead cross functional teams / projects • Ability to work in complex and pressure crunching environment and dealing with ambiguity.
