You can’t stand out by doing what you’re told to do. Being a Gen Z, I tend to break away from traditional ways of doing things. I'm passion driven & result oriented. The most important value for me to have as a leader is Empathy.Growing up, I always had a passion for technology & latest gadgets. Eventually, I found my place at the Cyber & Strategic Risk Advisory practice of Deloitte. I’ve spent the last 6+ years in Information Technology (IT) Consulting— providing leading practices in Global Information Services to Fortune 500 clients.I work on GRC, Cloud, ERP, HCM, Application Security Implementation & Auditing. When I'm not working, I like to pen down my thoughts as poems, or free verses, especially when I’m by myself, surrounded by nature. I love greenery, tall trees (fall vibes) & beaches. And I love donuts. The thing I love the most about my work is that I get to interact with a lot of people every day—colleagues, clients, stakeholders, etc. I lead a big project team who I enjoy talking to. I like orals & presentations, which I know many people don’t like, but I like the spotlight.My parents have always encouraged me to pursue all my passions, and do what my heart says. I believe in kindness and compassion. I'm part of an anti cyber bullying campaign on social media.When I was a kid, I had a lot of toys, but my favorite thing to do was to break those toy cars/robots and play with magnets, wires—or whatever I found inside. I've always been eager to learn new stuff. But the most important thing I've learnt in life is to be authentic, true-to-yourself & just go-for-it. There have been many moments in my career when I got to save-the-day, just by showing up and being my true self.
