About Mangela Samuel

Mangela is of Cuban-Mozambican descent, a unique blend of cultures. Born in Cuba, she was raised in Mozambique and has lived in various countries, including Zimbabwe, Cuba, Portugal, and the United States for 15 years. In Cuba, she obtained a technical diploma in Industrial Pharmacy, achieving an impressive average of nearly 98% over four years. This remarkable academic performance earned her a scholarship to pursue a bachelor's degree in Genetics and Biotechnology at the University of UTAD - Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Vila Real, Portugal.In 2009, Mangela graduated from UTAD with aspirations of becoming a CSI agent. She continued her education, aiming for a master’s in Forensics at FIU. However, life took an unexpected turn, as a friend once quoted Forrest Gump,"Life is like a box of chocolates." In 2011, she began her career at Visa as a Client Care Representative in the Global Client Care Service (GCCS).Since then, her career has flourished in a field she never imagined: assisting people. With the evolution of technology and the recognition of this new era, Mangela has honed her skills in listening to clients, understanding their needs, and providing support when needed. She remains passionate about her work, even though she did not become a CSI agent for the FBI. Instead, she became a CSI agent for Client Care, driven by her love for investigation and problem-solving. Her dedication to providing exceptional service is evident in her daily work, making her an invaluable asset to her team.
