I address issues related to CPU usage, memory, device status, storage, and hardware failures. Key Responsibilities: Alert Management: Monitor and respond to alerts for various network devices, covering CPU issues, memory issues, device status, storage, hardware failures etc. Backup & Recovery Solutions: Implement and manage backup solutions using tools like: Veeam Backup & Replication Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Veritas Backup Exec Acronis Cyber Protect Kiwi CatTools by SolarWinds Azure Backups Windows Server Backups Infrastructure Backup: Ensure backups for servers, firewalls, switches, routers, mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint etc. with regular testing to confirm backup integrity- I am also responsible for patch management, crucial for IT infrastructure security and stability. This involves: Patch Deployment: Coordinate and deploy software patches across systems to address vulnerabilities and enhance performance. Patch Testing: Test patches in a controlled environment to ensure compatibility before full-scale implementation. Monitoring & Reporting: Track patch status, ensure timely application, and generate reports for compliance and effectiveness. Issue Resolution: Resolve conflicts or issues arising from patch deployment. My role in patch management ensures systems remain secure, up-to-date, and resilient, contributing to overall IT infrastructure reliability and security.
