About Manika Homagain

Hello! My name is Manika and I am currently seeking full time job opportunities with start dates of Summer 2025. My skills and interests are best aligned with roles in audit, business development/analysis, and sales or client-facing roles. During my time at UT Austin, I’ve had the opportunity to explore several fields. Most recently, I worked as a Communications Intern for the Information Security department at the University of Texas System, and prior to that, I served as an IT Client Specialist Intern for UT System, where I developed a strong interest in technology. I also have experience working for the Texas General Land Office as an Audit intern, where I helped analyze lease and financial documents during the audit process. These experiences have shaped my interest in working for roles that analyze risks, as well as encourage collaboration and communication. Beyond my professional experience, I’m deeply connected to my community and served as a First-Generation Student Mentor for first-year students at UT Austin. I am currently an editor for the Texas Journal of International Affairs, and work part-time as a student receptionist. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, digital art, and weightlifting.
