I am a highly skilled and certified Oracle Database Exadata Administrator with over 11 years of experience in IT, specializing in Oracle database design, analysis, administration, and performance tuning across Linux/Unix and Windows platforms. As an Oracle Certified Expert in Oracle Exadata X5 Administration, I possess extensive expertise in managing and optimizing Exadata environments, from on-premises to cloud services (OCI). Currently, I am working at Infosys as a Senior Consultant in Infrastructure Management, where I lead an 12-member offshore team for the Citizen’s Bank project. My role encompasses handling Exadata C@C Gen2 machines and Exadata Cloud Services (ExaCS) environments, performing Dom0 and DomU patching, coordinating with application teams to ensure seamless patching without application outages, and migrating on-premises Exadata Gen1 databases to OCI using the PDB clone method. I also build physical standby databases on OCI using active duplication, and conduct daily KANBAN calls to manage incidents and changes, ensuring SLAs are met. Previously, I have provided 24/7 support for critical databases at DXC Technology, managing over Oracle databases, and handled end-to-end database activities including builds, patching, and regular administration. My experience also includes working as an AM DBA at Accenture, managing alerts and performing routine administrative activities for critical applications, and as a Level 1 Database Administrator at Net Access India, ensuring the smooth operation and health of RAC production server databases.
