About Manisha Holmes

I’m a board-certified neurologist and epilepsy specialist (MD, FAES) with expertise in caring for people with epilepsy across the spectrum—from new-onset epilepsy to refractory cases, including women with epilepsy and those exploring minimally invasive surgical options or neurostimulation devices. I currently serve as Epilepsy Section Chief at Westchester Medical Center, where I lead multidisciplinary efforts to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Before joining WMCHealth, I worked at NYU’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and completed my neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. My research experience includes work with the Human Epilepsy Project, EEG patterns in critical care, and a review of the gut microbiome’s role in epilepsy. I’m also committed to medical education, mentorship, and expanding access to high-quality neurologic care in the Hudson Valley and beyond.
