About Manisha Sharma

Manisha Sharma is an engineering professional with ~6 years of industrial experience in new product development, cost down vertical and expertise in sustenance engineering within hydrostatics division of Danfoss Power Solutions. She holds a master’s degree in Design Engineering from BITS Pilani. In current role, Manisha is responsible for leading the cost down efforts for Hydrostatic division. The responsibility ranges from building the concept to prototyping & concept validation. She is also responsible for building the idea funnel for cost down opportunities for Hydrostatic division and leading the effort to mature the idea. She is also leading the efforts for solving the customer field issues and driving the same as robustness project for existing portfolio. Current Responsibilities: • Leading a cost down projects of € 150K for existing product, which involves the responsibility from building the concept to validation and execute. • Leading customer field issues through 8D CAPA problem solving approach and result of which driving the efforts to make products more robust across portfolio. • Prepare validation and verification test plans for prototype testing to fully validate product against the customer requirement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CoEs, Marketing, SCM, PMO, Plant, ERL) to enhance technology & manufacturing readiness levels (TRL & MRL) for new ideas. • Utilize DfSS tools (P-Diagram, DFMEA, Monte Carlo, DVP & R) and DfX (X- Manufacturability, Assembly, Reliability, Environment) led approach for robust design culture and better design decisions. • Develop and present engineering reports/presentations of quality that communicate design intent, feasibility study and validation at design reviews.
