About Manjit Birk

After a successful career in Facilities Management I decided to do something outside my comfort zone and re train as a personal trainer I took a natural break in my career after having my children back in 2013 In 2017 I decided I wanted a different challenge. One that would fully support a work like balance that I wanted. Sadly FM doesn’t provide the work life balance that working mums in particular need so I re trained in something I love doing I am now a freelance PT working for a brilliant charity called GoodGym as well as private clients. I help coordinate tasks with the local community in Slough and each Monday I lead my group of runners to do these tasks in a voluntary capacity. we get fit and support local charities and community groups! Win win! I am also an Event Director for junior parkrun - helping our future generations stay fit and start their volunteering journey.
