About Manlio Becchetti

I am an eclectic mechanical engineer with a career focused on project management and product validation. Shortly: I lead multi-disciplinary teams building complex electro-mechanical systems aimed at product validation. I love my job because it involves virtually every engineering discipline: machinery design, manufacturing, procurement, hydraulics & lubrication, power electronics, data acquisition & control, you name it. I normally manage complex engineering projects including business case, technical specifications, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning. Thanks to my education I have solid theoretical foundations, so I am comfortable with complexity: however, my attitude is mostly hands-on and if possible I prefer simple and practical designs. On a more personal note, what motivates me is meaningful teamwork, stakeholder satisfaction and visionary leadership: I enjoy delivering on expectations and solving a complex engineering problem together with my team mates.
