I’m a 4th-year Psychology and Law student at Carleton University with a passion for the creative intersections of law, culture, and identity. My focus is on fashion law and intellectual property, where I aim to protect innovation and creativity while championing equity, diversity, and inclusion within the industry. Drawing from my experiences as a writer and storyteller, I enjoy breaking down complex legal concepts related to brand protection, licensing, and corporate transactions into accessible narratives. This blend of legal insight and creative communication fuels my aspiration to become a lawyer who not only safeguards designs and trademarks but also advocates for underrepresented voices in fashion and media. I’ve interned in legal settings where I supported IP research, contract drafting, and EDI initiatives: experiences that strengthened my commitment to socially responsible lawyering. Outside the classroom, I lead equity-focused clubs and contribute to platforms that amplify diverse perspectives. Currently, I’m seeking opportunities to deepen my expertise in IP, corporate, and entertainment law, ideally within the fashion or creative sectors.
