About Mannat Nurpuri

As a graduate in Fashion Design and Textiles, I am diverse, a team player and also a keen individual learner. My formative years were significantly shaped through the sport of basketball which helped me build as an individual and a people’s person, with this I had a lot of first hand experiences connecting and seeing different cultures as I am from India, one of the most diverse nations in the world. My major in textiles has helped me step out of my comfort zone and explore more opportunities to create better design experiences. Talking about experiences, they have taught me how to understand unique styles of different people, time management with organisational skills and learning to actively communicate with clients. I draft and sew clothes with the knowledge and skills that I have acquired and continue to learn, and I truly understand the patience, value and perseverance that goes into making every product.
