About Manny MacEda

Global executive with more than 30 years' experience in leading high-performing organizations. Recently served as Worldwide Managing Partner of Bain & Company from 2018 to 2024, overseeing Bain’s transformation to embed digital and technology capabilities and build a deeper focus on sustainability, while maintaining the firm’s culture and ranking as one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work and earning the #1 position on Glassdoor’s Best Led Companies list in 2024. Previous roles at Bain included Chairman of the Asia-Pacific region and Global Leader at various times of the Full Potential Transformation Group, Performance Improvement practice, Reengineering practice and Global Recruiting Team. Served on the firm’s Management Committee, Nominating Committee and Global Operating Committee. Advised clients across a range of industries, including energy, retail, industrial products, financial services, technology and private equity. Prior to joining Bain in 1988, worked with E.I. du Pont de Nemours in the Engineering Plastics Group and with Unocal Corporation in refinery process engineering. Extensive experience advising CEOs and senior management teams on large corporate transformations involving strategy, growth, cost reduction, performance improvement and organizational effectiveness.
