Development of assembly sequence for different caterpillar products. Specialized in assembly sequence development for Hydraulic Excavators. Worked with cross functional teams for gathering inputs for assembly sequence creation. Creating the assembly process planning using Team Center Manufacturing MPP (Manufacturing Process Planner) module – PLM. Responsible for training new additions to the team, project execution,estimation and delivery. Developed Standard work element sheet (SWES) for Wheel loader, Engines & Excavators. Identified and documented value added and non-value added activities by analyzing videos captured from the shop floor. Created manufacturing bill of material for wheel loaders using Team center vis mock-up. Identifying project dependencies and managing operational aspects of ongoing projects serving as liaison between supply chain, materials, design and assembly teams in project execution. Maintaining data integrity of the Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) and routings that pass from Product life cycle management (Team center manufacturing) systems to the Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP). Maintaining >95% project quality and velocity using FTR (First Time Right) methodology. Troubleshooting issues related to interfacing, testing and uploading of BOM/Routings and production order release tasks in ERP system. Lean Manufacturing: Successfully implemented the ideas for line balancing (Capacity planning), process improvements, waste elimination by performing time Studies Operation data system (ODS) in excavator assembly line. Eliminated 8 wastes as per Caterpillar Production System (CPS) and achieved Targeted Quality, & Cost. Responsible for Vehicle E-build and support production builds for each value stream lines. Developed Standard work/Visuals for operators in MESA (Manufacturing Execution System for Assembly). Well-developed analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
