I am a passionate software engineer with expertise in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, and Python, specializing in backend and full-stack development. Over the years, I have worked on microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based solutions, always striving to build scalable and efficient systems. What I Do: I’m a backend engineer on the App Modernization team, where we help customers transition their legacy applications into cloud-native environments. Right now, my focus is on integrating CI/CD and DevSecOps practices into our workflow using IBM Secure Pipeline Services. This involves automating deployments, enforcing security policies, and containerizing applications for OpenShift (OCP). Along the way, I’ve been diving into Kubernetes, Podman, shell scripting, and security best practices to make our pipelines more efficient and secure. What I'm Learning: Performance optimization has always fascinated me, and that curiosity led me to start NanoDB, a simple database written in Java. Instead of just using databases, I want to understand how data is structured, stored, and queried at a low level. Beyond databases, I’m continuously improving my problem-solving skills, diving deeper into Data Structures & Algorithms, and exploring Reactive & Async Programming to build ultra-efficient, non-blocking systems. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to real-world problems and contribute to the success of innovative and impactful projects. I am a team player, a quick learner, and a self-starter.
