About Manon Mispiratceguy

A wildlife ecologist by training, I grew into an increasingly cross-disciplinary professional after years of living and working in sub-Saharan Africa, confronted by complex challenges at the heart of the human-wildlife coexistence dilemna. I have over 8 years of experience contributing to and, since 2021, managing large projects on community-based, sustainable management of natural resources and human-wildlife coexistence, and how these can be integrated into national and international efforts towards biodiversity conservation, rural development and social justice, under a One Health Approach. One of my other areas of interest is sustainable financing for biodiversity and promoting the design of participatory initiatives based on bottom-up governance, where technical inputs serve only to strenghten the capacity of local actors to lead and manage these initiatives efficiently and sustainably.
