About Mansoor Alameri

Mansoor Alameri, PT, MPT, PhD, is an accomplished professional with a wealth of academic and research experience. Currently serving as the assistant professor and academic coordinator of clinical education (ACCE) at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS), Dr. Alameri's extensive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from October Sixth University (2013), a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda University Health (2015), and Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in physical therapy from the same institution (2019). With over a decade of clinical practice in various outpatient and inpatient PT settings, Dr. Alameri has provided valuable mentorship to numerous physical therapy students as a certified clinical instructor (CI) through the American Physical Therapy Association. His commitment to advancing the field is evident in his research expertise, specializing in Orthopedic and Pain Sciences Research, specifically focusing on the role of neuromuscular/motor control in low back pain. Through his research, Dr. Alameri aims to identify differences in postural and neuromuscular motor patterns between individuals with and without low back pain, ultimately improving patient outcomes through targeted interventions. Dr. Alameri holds licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Physical Therapy Boards of Texas, solidifying his qualifications and credentials in the field. He actively engages with professional organizations such as the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT), the National Consortium of Clinical Educators (NCCE), and the Texas Consortium for Physical Therapy Clinical Education. In Addition, Dr. Alameri also serves as an associate faculty member for the School of Allied Health at Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) until June 2025. His outstanding academic achievements have earned him notable recognition, including the prestigious Roy Hershey Scholarship and the Outstanding Doctoral Research Award during his tenure at LLUH. Dr. Alameri's contributions extend beyond academia, evident through his numerous scholarly publications in renowned scientific journals within his field of expertise, as well as his presentations at esteemed peer-reviewed conferences on both national and international platforms. Moreover, his remarkable contributions and innovative approach have led to his nomination for the 2023 USAHS Board of Director Excellence Award in Innovation, further solidifying his reputation as a visionary in the field of physical therapy and education.
