I grew up in the heart of the capital were all it flowed with garbage and gutter water. What is a blue sky, who knows? I have only witnessed shades of grey here. I went to DAV Public School, only 10 minutes away from my home. The only solace in the noise was my English Class. That teacher loved me and I loved her little sessions with us, and that's how I started writing. Personal Essays filled with my teenage woes, haikus addressed to that nonchalant lover, journals filled with rebellious thoughts and my fanfiction on batman formed an early part of the process of writing. Well, guess what major would I end up choosing? English literature! Battle cries were heard, people whispered in the corners and the monotony was broken. I was doing something unconventional. That's what I thought at the time though! And then I started writing for Corporates, Clients and Classmates so that I can churn out some pocket money for Cigarettes and Dostoevsky. Well, there was still one void inside. When I joined Ketto and realized I liked writing something the better. Or maybe I liked writing Facebook ads. You can't use Cancer, Death, or any other negative words as the algorithm is a naïve child sheltered from the harsh realities of the world. It felt like having foreplay with words. How to say it all, without saying anything at all. I had to sell the misery, I had to sell so someone's life can be saved. It was desperate and dramatic, that's what made it interesting. And that's how I started a glorious journey towards a meaningful escalating career. Still reading?
