About Manu Mankad

Manu is a Managing Director, Deloitte Advisory in San Francisco. He primarily focuses advising and consulting clients in the financial services industry including banking, fintechs, investment management and real estate companies. Manu has extensive experience in leading internal audit co-sourced engagements, contract risk compliance and consulting clients on performing RCSAs, enterprise risk management, internal controls design and implementation. He has experience working with clients on business operational, compliance and information technology assessments. Areas of experience include information technology governance, information security, third party assessments, business continuity management. He has designed and evaluated application controls, general computer controls and segregation of duties assessments for various applications including Oracle, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards. Operational and regulatory experience includes fraud risk assessments, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, FCRA/ FACT Act and GLBA/Privacy regulatory compliance projects. He has also performed entity level, business process and general computer controls (GCC) assessment in support of year-end financial audits. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He also spent two years in Deloitte Middle East in Abu Dhabi/Dubai serving the firm's clients in the region which on a two year Global Deployment. Prior to joining Deloitte, Manu received his MBA in Finance and International Business and BA Communications from the University of Washington.
