About Manuel Long

Manuel Long has been practicing public accounting since 1974 with both national and local accounting firms. Manuel heads up the firm's International tax and financial Accounting and Auditing practice areas. His accounting and auditing experience includes serving a variety of commercial and not for profit entities. Manuel also uses his experience and analytical skills to provide attorneys with litigation support services. He has also worked extensively in the area of tax planning and consulting, tax compliance, and the structuring of the business and personal interests of non-resident alien individuals and foreign corporations in the United States. His experience also includes the handling of IRS audits of foreign taxpayers. Manuel is bilingual and on numerous occasions has been invited to lecture on tax topics in Mexico and/or to business delegations traveling from Mexico to San Antonio. Manual graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio and has been a shareholder of the firm since 1987. Recently, Manuel was one of only two citizens asked to serve on the City's audit committee by the former mayor of San Antonio. He has also served on the board of directors of a number of civic, cultural and charitable organizations.
