About Manuel Lopez

I am a detail-oriented electrical engineer with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech with a concentration in Electronic Design and Application. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a primary technical core in Integrated Circuits and a secondary in Software Development. My past experience working as an instrument engineer intern for both General Electric and ExxonMobil Research & Development allowed me to gain valuable knowledge in wireless signals, control systems, automation process controls, and measurement instruments used by energy companies. I learned how to conduct root-cause analysis and got to change the test process of our products. During my internship, I was praised for my ability to be a quick learner and for my problem-solving skills. From my experience as a high school robotics coach, I gained excellent leadership and organizational skills. I have a wide knowledge of various programming languages including C++, Java, Python, and MATLAB. I am interested in obtaining a full-time position to develop as a Design Engineer, in a company that includes in its values the human factor, so that through teamwork and tools provided by my studies and my experience, I can develop, learn and contribute as much as I can to the team that I will be working with. I believe that my leadership skills, my wide knowledge of programming languages, my analog IC designing skills and my positive work ethic would make me an asset in the electronic manufacturing industry.
