I've worn many hats in my career—Burger Flipper, Floor Hand on a pulling unit, Senior Housing Specialist, Logistics Specialist and Analyst but I found my love to be in trucking. As a result, I have a unique ability to manage multiple projects and to navigate complex challenges found regularly in the professional world, especially in the realm of transportation and logistics. Actual life experience has taught me that I can be summed up in the following ways-I've never backed down from a challenge, from taking on a particularly nosy bear to helping implement a brand new call and data center for one of the largest public housing programs in the country, to overcoming a botched multinational RFQ with only 72 hours till submission- I never forgot where I came from, I never will forget that I came from a working class family who lived paycheck to paycheck and had to work hard to make ends meet. Putting on airs doesn't impress anyone, it only makes you the clown in the three ring circus."A humble man is not afraid of failure. I speak fluent geek, nerd, gamer, marketer, trainer, salesperson -I’m not in it for the personal glory, I’m in it for the team. Personal glory is counterproductive to team morale, ask any gamer. It's especially detrimental if your teammates are having to help extract one another from under that bus they found themselves under-I have big ideas. Not all of them are exactly good ideas, but I still have them and am not afraid to put them out on the table. No one thought it was a good idea when Ben Franklin suggested he fly a kite in a thunderstorm, but that didn’t stop him-I run toward fires, especially when it involves my teenage son and an afternoon marathon of the Cowboy Bebop. Fatherhood teaches you to be fearless, fatherhood and the threat of an angry spouse. I love making new professional acquaintances and most importantly, friends.
