About Manuel Silva

As a University CNC Instructor at Stiles Machinery, I teach advanced subjects to multiple levels of students, using both traditional and e-learning techniques. I also program, operate, and demonstrate machines at a high level and develop training documentation in line with corporate and accreditation standards. With over 5 years of experience in CNC instruction, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with the next generation of CNC professionals. Before joining Stiles Machinery, I was a Director of Operations and a Training Advisor for the United States Marine Corps. I achieved steady improvement in organizational performance, through assessment and implementation of cultural change, communication, and training. I also advised foreign security forces in full-spectrum operations, leadership, logistics, and accountability. As a LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt, I am proficient in process improvement, quality assurance, team building facilitation, command and control, and safety. Enhancing my operational management and leadership competencies, I also have degrees in Business Administration, Supervision, and Management.
