About Manuel Thompson

I have over seven years experience working as a Financial Advisor in the Lafayette, La. area partnering with clients and perspective clients assisting them with meeting thier financial goals. My Attention to detail, good listening skills and great empathy are just a few of the attributes my clients appreciate most. I am supported by investment product specialists whose teamwork and professionalism help me to provide clients with the utmost in customer service. Before becoming a Financial Advisor I worked in Financial Services as a Relationship Banker at JP Morgan Chase Bank where I assisted clients with thier banking needs both personal and business. I am a proud Military Veteran who honorably served in the US NAVY as a Radioman. First serving overseas on Misawa airbase in Misawa Japan and later onboard the USS Ogden (LPD-5). This included tours in Operation Dessert Storm and The Gulf War. Later I honorably served as an Infantrymen (11M) in the U.S. ARMY stationed in Fort Benning, GA. and later at Fort Hood, TX. This experience has allowed me to travel several countries such as Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, and more. When I am not serving clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife Penny and two kids Gabby and Kobe along with a host of family and friends. I also enjoy reading and engaging with new people from all walks of life.
