Policies don’t change the workplace, people do: Human Resources has become a strategic cornerstone in many organizations. My name is Manuela Howard, and I support the smooth running of an HR office, develop organizational structure, and help individuals and teams with their performance through implementing a framework of efficiencies. My career has always been within the office support environment in varied situations, and I adapt well having worked both in Germany and Silicon Valley. From Health Care to New Technologies, I enjoy learning about new organizations, the products and services they deliver and being an integral part of their success. Working in both teams and individually, I have found that I am skilled in the quick understanding of new processes and appreciate improving efficiencies where possible. Entrusted with confidential information from employee status to organizational secrets, I understand the importance of appropriate communications that support the goals of the company. In addition, I am adept at prioritizing and juggling multiple tasks and I have been consistently recognized by management to be a trustworthy and a reliable resource to improve organizational effectiveness. Particularly attentive to detail, I am a subject matter expert on many Human Resources policies, procedures and operations, and contribute to the smooth running of HR office functions.
