About Manuela Muttoni

I am an attorney admitted to practice law in the State of New York and Italy. In 2018, I founded Muttoni Law PLLC to assist Italian and European clients doing business in the United States. At Muttoni Law PLLC, I provide guidance to executives and managers through all the technicalities required to comply with federal, state and local laws on a variety of topics, primarily U.S. business immigration, employment and corporate law and transactions (governance, commercial agreements, licensing, real estate and corporate compliance). Prior to establishing my legal practice in New York, from 2007 to 2018 I worked in the International Department of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C, a well recognized mid-size Manhattan-based law firm where I represented the US subsidiaries of foreign corporations in all the transactional, employment and immigration matters. I started my career at a boutique law firm in Milan, Italy (civil litigation and transactional work). Besides an Italian law degree (J.D. equivalent), I graduated with an LL.M in Corporate Compliance ('17) and an LL.M in Business Transactions ('07) from Fordham University-School of Law in New York. I am a member of SHRM*Society of Human Resource Management, ACAMS*Association of Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialists, AILA*American Immigration Lawyers Association, the New York City Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. I am a New York State licensed real estate broker. I hold dual citizenship of the USA and Italy.
