Testing switchgear panels of various types including: package substations, PDUs, RPPs, EMS outstations and PLC cabients. Testing every aspect of the product involving the following: insulation resistance and pressure testing, powering up control voltages in stages and testing each component (Energy monitoring meters, transformer temperature controllers, changeover controllers, PLCs, EMS and various communictation systems). Visual inspections are carried out to ensure product reaches standard specifactions. I have developed very strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills; through correcting wiring mistakes, CAD errors and design oversight. Carried out Factory Acceptance Tests on a daily basis and carried out Factory Witness Tests on a weekly/monthly basis and signed products over to clients on site. Various site visits to carry out installations, pre-power up inspections and fault finding/solving.As new products are introduced, intense research is required to ensure correct design has been put in place and the correct testing is carried out; so no aspect is overlooked.Graduated with 2.1 Honours Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering in 2017Was awarded best student in the Electronic and Mechanical Engineering department in 2016.
