About Manya Verma

With over three and half years of experience in corporate banking at J.P. Morgan, I have developed strong relationship management, project origination, execution and corporate finance skills. Being the primary junior point of contact for the high-growth tech clients in my current role with JPM's India HQ Corporate Banking franchise, I have gained strong exposure to the treasury, credit, trade, market, asset management and debt financing products across fintech, e-commerce, OTA, online content provider and SaaS sectors. In my previous role, I was responsible for sector-agnostic coverage of the wider APAC client base, I was responsible for supporting the origination and execution of corporate banking transactions. During my role, I was also responsible for mentoring and developing a team of juniors and was awarded a fast-track promotion for my exceptional performance. I have the privilege of a strong educational pedigree being a Chartered Accountant, a qualification similar to the ACCA qualification in the UK, during which I also worked with Deloitte in their global business tax team advising clients on the management and mitigation of their domestic and international tax exposure.
