About Maple Snow
Hello! I recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh's nursing program! As a student, I had the opportunity to begin exploring many possibilities within the nursing career field. I was placed on 8 different clinical units across various UPMC hospitals. I also spent time in two UPMC outpatient centers, with a local school nurse, and at multiple vaccination clinics (Pittsburgh VA Hospital and The Pitt Vaccination Hub). In any given healthcare setting, I have found my niche in direct patient conversation and education. My favorite experiences so far have been working with first-time mothers in the labor and delivery suites and my RN shadowing experience at UPMC McGee Women’s Hospital Emergency Department (ED)! I have been extremely fond of my other outpatient experiences as well. After graduation, I plan to move to Colorado and would love to start in the ED as part of a nurse residency program. My long-term career aspirations include returning to school to become a pediatric or family nurse practitioner, then working in primary care! Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
