About Mar Saavedra

As a Research Project Coordinator, I manage and coordinate research projects that aim to improve the quality of care and outcomes for patients and healthcare professionals. With a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a background as a Hospital Pharmacist, I bring a unique combination of scientific knowledge, clinical expertise, and analytical skills to the research team.I also work as a Research Review Consultant, providing timely and rigorous evaluations of research proposals for Mitacs programs that support innovation and collaboration across disciplines and sectors. I am passionate about communicating complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences, whether through presentations, publications, websites, or workshops. I am fluent in English and French, and have extensive international experience. I am open to Canadian and European positions that allow me to leverage my clinical research and medical communication skills.
