About Mara Eisenstein

Mara has a creative and strategic mindset. She creates marketing collateral and content for companies, often in the entrepreneurial space. She is working in Denver at an established family law firm (founded in 1968) as their marketing manager. Mara enjoys marketing companies to elevate their presence. She has led direction and execution for a safety tech startup, a web design & digital marketing agency, and was Marketing Content Coordinator on a team for a global hospitality telephone company. In 2018, she loved the excitement of helping grow the local Ag Tech space as a marketing strategist with Hatch Ag Group consulting with branding and digital direction for startups including AirScout, Inc. She made her own head-in dive into entrepreneurship in 2008 post-graduation. Mara co-founded and co-developed a green business certification program for the nonprofit Illinois Green Business Association. She developed branding, marketing materials, social media and content creation, training and informational materials. She also organized monthly themed networking events as well as served as a liaison for coursework and student engagement at the University of Illinois. She hired/managed 70+ student interns, on three cycles per year. She networked with leaders throughout the state, culminating in organizing two statewide Summits w/nine workshops and two national keynote speakers for 200 attendees + 30 booth sponsors each year. From a student idea, to two statewide summits, thousands of students engaged, dozens of events, and 70 enrolled businesses and a hotel pilot program. What a whirlwind! A D D I T I O N A L : Mara hosted her own radio show as a biweekly volunteer show host on community radio station WEFT Champaign 90.1FM for a decade, helping organize the WEFT Fest annual fundraiser. She hosted electronic music but volunteered for a variety of world programs. She launched music website to share her love for the beats. In 2015, she enrolled in an intensive Permaculture Design Course for a permaculture design certificate, and implemented land-based projects in the months following, on two rural Texas properties. For two years, she was an invited advisor for the University of Illinois' ENACTUS (social entrepreneurship club) in the College of Business, board member at Illini Hillel, and advisor at Pi Beta Phi women's fraternity at her alma mater. She also qualified as an AirBnB SuperHost (35+ 5-star ratings) and started an ETSY shop before her relocation to Colorado.
