About Marc Arza

Opinionated optimist building companies, shaping cities, and teaching the next generation of leaders. Passionate about business, economics, international relations, innovation, and politics. Married and father of two. I graduated from law school more than 25 years ago, added two master’s degrees, and still hope to add a PhD to the list. I spent a decade traveling the world in international business, and from 2012 to 2019 served on my city’s Town Council, where I helped drive economic development, attract investment, and guide key urban revitalization projects. Since 2020, I’ve led Startsud Studio, a venture builder that has launched, accelerated, and invested in more than 20 startups — such as Needcarhelp, Tauniqlo, and Kunkay — with several securing follow-on funding and expanding internationally. I shape future leaders as a professor at Rovira i Virgili University and EADA Business School, and I publish weekly articles in regional and national newspapers. Overstretched, I know.
