Marc Baumann currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SP Plus Corporation (SP+).(Nasdaq:SP) SP+ is a leading provider of technology-driven mobility solutions for aviation, commercial, hospitality and institutional clients throughout North America, The Company operates over facilities with 2.0 million parking spaces in hundreds of cities across North America, including parking-related and shuttle bus operations serving over 70 airports. SP+ is one of the leading valet operators in the nation with more four and five diamond luxury properties, including hotels and resorts, than any other valet company. The Company's ground transportation division transports approximately 55 million passengers each year and the Company provides a wide range of event logistics services. Bags Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary, offers an array of baggage and travel services, including remote airline check-in, baggage handling and related services. Marc joined SP+ in and has held key business leadership and financial roles with SP+, including President of Urban Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining SP+, Marc was Finance Director (CFO) for Warburton’s Ltd. in Bolton, England. A Chicago area native, Marc joined Warburtons, Inc. in Chicago in 1989 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and was promoted to the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer in 1990. In 1993, Marc relocated to England in connection with his appointment as Finance Director (CFO) of Warburton’s Ltd, the largest bakery brand in the United Kingdom. Marc holds a B.S. degree from Northwestern University and an M.B.A from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
