Background

About Marc Brittain

My research interests include machine learning and artificial intelligence with applications in air traffic management and cyber-physical systems. I have developed novel frameworks introducing deep reinforcement learning / multi-agent reinforcement learning in Air Traffic Management to ensure safe separation requirements are met between all aircraft in high density, heterogeneous airspace. My research interests also involve developing new techniques to beat the state-of-the-art deep reinforcement algorithms on benchmarks such as Atari and StarCraft II. I have also worked with SOTA computer vision algorithms and natural language processing techniques with applications in Advanced Air Mobility. In addition, I have been recently interested in large-scale distributed deep reinforcement learning leveraging cloud & high performance computing clusters. More specifically, how can we continue to scale RL beyond what is currently done today?
