About Marc Burkhard

Marc is currently a senior manager at Sanofi where he heads the Mobility Backoffice Group. In his current role, he is managing mobile initiatives to enable the organization to move forward in the mobile space, which include mobilizing the sales force, building best practices for developing apps, handling BYOD initiatives, enabling new devices and form factors for success and looking at ways to innovate in the mobile space for Sanofi. He works extensively with different teams and collaborates with the business to successfully implement mobile initiatives. in the Backoffice Team he is managing the global mobility infrastructure including different mobility vendor technologies. He has over 20 years experience in managing and implementing IT processes. He started his career working with an Energy company as an IT Expert, designing and maintaining the European Power Exchange systems. He moved to Munich where he continued as the team lead for one of the biggest engery trading companys in Germany. He later moved to Sanofi where he worked in a global team on the Microsoft Exchange Backbone, supporting more then mailboxes.
