When I was 19, I heard a guy at my club asking, where in the world he could find someone with a Danish passport, that could, by the end of the week, leave with his expedition and spend an entire summer by a glacier on the east coast of Greenland, Being game for an adventure I went. Despite certain hardships, dangling at the end of a rope in a crevice (someone had to go first) and one very cold hurricane, I kept going with a smile. I’m that kind of person. Once I say I’ll do something, it will happen. Now, I put that spirit to work as Head of Capital Markets and Institutional Banking for Arbejdernes Landsbank. What I have done I have always worked with an international focus, establishing an extensive network throughout Europe. Through my work in building up and running one of the most successful Nordic based syndicated loan desks and in managing relations with Danish, other Nordic and Baltic based Financial Institutions, I have received and demonstrated a good insight into market developments and trends. With the assistance of my team and network, I have helped banks strengthen their capital base, improve liquidity and helped improve operational and administrative functions for their benefit and for their customers.
