I am a dynamic IT leader and advisor in the financial services, insurance, and reinsurance industries, committed to driving the continued development of innovative and robust technology environments. For over two decades, I’ve helped companies understand and integrate competing business, IT, security, and compliance objectives, and I know that a growing awareness of privacy and confidentiality risks and strengthening regulations have increased pressure to make these items boardroom topics. As CIO of Deloitte’s technology organization in the Caribbean and Bermuda region, I’ve cultivated a keen understanding of the value of strategic alignment. Always, I strive to provide value through deep knowledge of the technology and business processes that drive today’s enterprises. Through extensive experience in organizing technology initiatives and priorities, I’ve become adept at building strategic partnerships with executive teams, stakeholder groups, vendors, and clients. This is further bolstered by a broad background in managing IT costs, programmes and portfolios, vendors, and risks. Currently, I’m passionate about providing trusted IT advisory services to leading international companies in Bermuda. These services have included strategic and directional oversight, product selection, security and compliance management, preparations for GDPR and other privacy regulations, implementing global disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities, building service management programs, and managing key infrastructure, data warehouse, and finance systems projects.
