I am going back to my technical roots, software development in.Net, SQL and Power BI. I have experience in.Net Development, SQL Server (Designing relational databases, DBA, SSRS, SSIS & Performance Tuning). I am a self-driven & diligent person with experience in application development, project management, people management and strategy. I am motivated to achieve a balance between people, business requirements and outcomes for an organization. I’ve spent the last 5 years in a management and technical role, assisting a not for profit (CBM) transform how it uses technology: • Changed the mindset of what was the “ICT service provider” to that of strategic partner using a business and entrepreneurial approach. • Led the reset and implementation of a significant Blackbaud CRM implementation after it was failing, and successfully delivered it in line with the re-established timeline and budget. • Introduced project management techniques for handling individual projects and programs (when projects overlapped or had critical dependencies). • Project Managed WordPress website projects. Focus was on content, navigation, SEO, accessibility, and branding. • Introduced an Accessibility mindset for all systems development and procurement. • Led ICT through business continuity planning, for technical and staff aspects. • Managed the transition to MS365 / Office 365 from traditional on-premises file stores (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, TCO365) for greater collaboration. • Completed analysis & fit of Azure for on-premises services. • Achieved PCI compliance for the organization. • Managed the change-over from a bespoke e-shop to using Shopify. • Introduced and managed insights analysis for our Fundraising arm. Implemented Tableau and recently moved to Power BI. Established a data warehouse to deliver richer dashboards from disparate systems. The emphasis was to change from a reporting mindset to insights, the latter used to understand and improve business performance.
