About Marc Dowdle

Marc graduated from the University of New England in 2009 with a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2010. Marc obtained his Specialist Accreditation in Family Law through the NSW Law Society in 2018. Since his admission, Marc has practiced almost exclusively in private areas of law (family law and criminal law), making regular appearances in the Family Court of Australia, Federal Circuit Court of Australia, District and Supreme Courts and Local Court of New South Wales. Marc has significant experience on all types of family law matters, including divorce, property and financial matters, parenting matters, spouse maintenance applications and child support issues, along with applications for apprehended domestic violence orders and domestic violence related criminal matters. Marc is a fierce advocate with a passion for getting results for his clients, both inside and outside the Courtroom. Marc is also passionate about mentoring younger Solicitors, graduates and university students, passing on his experience to others and dedicating time to providing advice and assisting others in achieving their personal, academic and career goals. He has hosted a number of in-house seminars for junior lawyers and law clerks.
